On June 21st, 2014, Bakersfield HOG Chapter #1580 had a great turn out for our Pancake Breakfast, Bake Sale and Safety Day. Blueberry and/or Chocolate Pancakes were the order of the day. The Ladies of Harley (LOH) also held their Bake Sale too! Don Oldaker manned the Safety Day – which included a safety course to test your riding skills in tight, slow turns. Craig Corder hosted the “Come see what your missing” truck simulator. We had a full sized 18 Wheeler Truck parked on the property with 9 motorcycles parked around it. We asked riders to jump into the seat of the big truck to “see what a trucker doesn’t see.” Most were surprised at how several full sized motorcycles were completely invisible to the driver of the truck.
