Hey HOG members…We had our first ever HOG Fun Run last Saturday (Feb 2nd). For a short notice event, we had a turnout of 27 motorcycles and about 42 HOG members. The weather was great…clear and cool but what do you expect in February. At least it was dry!!!
We had a great time at the Minter Field Museum and received a warm welcome from Retired USAF Major General James Whitehead and two museum docents, Don Westfahs and Frank Franceshi. I was amazed at how many of our members didn’t know the museum existed.
After the tour, we went over to Coffee Road where we had lunch at either Pollo Loco or the China Bistro. A great day and everyone was almost done by noon…some stayed around and talked for a long time.
Hopefully, more of you can join us for our next Fun Run. Keep you calendar handy this month; there’s a lot going on in HOG.
